Paradise Pools & Spas was founded in 1986 in Austin, Texas by the owner Carl Henry. Carl started his career in the pool industry in 1980 in Austin with McGee Swimming Pool Co. Paradise Pools and Spas is a member of the APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals) formerly NSPI. Our knowledge, experience, and reputation assure that you are not only building a pool, but a place to build memories for you and your family for many years to come.

The following are permanent employees of Paradise Pools

Frank Maddox; Frank is our general manager and has been in the pool industry since 1982 and with Paradise Pools since we began in 1986. He is knowledgeable in all phases of construction and repairs and will be working with you from the initial bidding, thru construction, and turnover.

Saul Valverde; Saul has been with Paradise Pools since 1999. His main responsibilities are setting the equipment and supervising the masonry crews to convey all details of the job to ensure quality workmanship.

Harry Wier; Harry has worked in gunite installation of swimming pool installation for over 30 years and has been with Paradise Pools since 2001. He is responsible for overseeing the construction from excavation thru the gunite process. He will be on the job thru the gunite process and monitors the curing of the structure needed for maximum strength of your gunite shell. This is not delegated to you the home owner as most pool companies do.

Peggy Henry; Peggy has been in the pool industry since 1979 and assures that the office and financial portions of Paradise run smoothly.

Our pricing is fair and honest, with no high pressure sales. Carl designs and sales projects for clients that commit to a design fee after an initial meeting. The design fee will be deducted from the contract. We have commissioned designer/sales consultants for those clients that do not feel comfortable paying for design.

We are not a high volume builder, typically building about 30 pools per year. All pools come with a full two year warranty on everything and a 10 year warranty on the structure.
